Why do I do what I do? It’s simple.
Because I am passionate about the importance of true, printed portraits and the value and meaning they bring to families.
I believe children deserve gorgeous portraits of their parents. Mom is always behind the camera, and often when kids go to find photos of their mothers, there are few to find. Dads normally avoid the camera as well. When those loved ones are gone, that connection that they felt - that they lived - is not captured for them to see and cherish.
I believe children also deserve to see themselves captured in time, to remember the joy of childhood and the person they were before the realities of adulthood take hold. They deserve to be celebrated, to be shown through displays of their image on the walls that they are valued and that they matter. Studies show that displaying images of children and families in the home has a huge positive effect on self esteem.
I know that inevitably families crave just one more image of loved ones once they are gone, just one more memory of grandparents and others lost too soon. I’ve been to too many funerals where the best photo is either a high school portrait, or a blurry cell phone picture. You see, when we are gone, we only live on in memories and photographs.
Portraits matter.

Beauty lives within all of us. Our children see it, our spouses see it, our family sees it. But sometimes we struggle to see it ourselves, because we only look at what is looking back in the mirror. But that is not your true beauty that your loved ones see. Your smile, your laugh, your caring soul, a sparkle in your eye. The people who love you see your beauty shine through every day.
And while it’s human nature to want to wait until everything is perfect - until you’ve lost that 10 pounds, or until you try that new skin cream - perfect never comes, because our flaws are what make us beautiful, and there will never be a better time to capture your beauty than today. My job is to make you look fabulous no matter what your size or shape. (If you lose that weight, you can always come again to celebrate!)

I see beauty all around me. And I know how to bring it out in a portrait.
I also know what it feels like to be a woman, a mother, a wife who struggles with seeing my own beauty in the mirror on a daily basis. So I have made it my mission in life to help others to let their beauty shine, and to capture it for those who love them. To get them in front of the camera instead of behind. And to love the outcome. I want to show you the beauty others see, and capture it for you in a portrait… forever.
