When I was deciding which models to focus on at The Portrait Masters, Cianna jumped out at me. She was SO willing to help the photographers and do whatever poses they chose. She worked so hard… She had a smile that would light up the room and was just stunning to photograph. In fact, I went back to her several times… I kept thinking she’d be a cool chick to hang out with!

I had the pleasure of photographing local Instagram icon Meghan Joy Yancy (check her out!) and 3 of her girls at my studio. I absolutely love following her and seeing all the adorable photos of her family.
I cannot explain how sweet, kind, well behaved, and amazingly cooperative these girls were. They are exactly the kind of girls you want your own daughter to hang around with!

When I attended the Portrait Masters conference in Phoenix in September to further my portrait education, one of my favorite parts was photographing some of the incredible models there. It was such a great experience to try different lighting scenarios and directing strangers… although they sure made it easy! Aren’t these ladies lovely?
I just wanted to take a moment to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all the ladies who care for others… whether it be their children, other’s children, their fur babies, or anyone else. This day and every day I honor and celebrate your love for those around you.
